How commission actually works
There's no flat SkillsPad affiliate rate — every product's creator decides what they'll pay. That keeps it honest: you always see the exact rate before you promote something, product by product.
The creator sets your rate
Each creator chooses their own commission for their product — a percentage of the sale or a flat GHS amount. There's no platform-wide rate, so check the number on the product before you promote it.
30-day tracking window
Once someone clicks your link, you're credited for any purchase they make within 30 days — even if they don't buy the same day.
One link per product
You join a product's affiliate program and get a link specific to it. Join as many open programs as you want.
Getting paid
Your dashboard tracks every click and sale in real time, so you always know exactly what you're owed before you request a payout.
The mechanics
- Request a payout once your available balance hits GHS 50.
- Paid out to mobile money or your bank account — a flat GHS 1 (mobile money) or GHS 8 (bank) fee applies, not a cut of your earnings.
- A sale becomes payout-eligible 24 hours after the buyer paid, so refunds don't get paid out by mistake.
- You request it, we review and send it — real transfers, not a fixed monthly payday.

Questions affiliates ask
Do I need to be a creator or have my own store to become an affiliate?
No. Affiliate is its own account type. You don't need to sell anything yourself — you're promoting other creators' products.
Can I promote any product on SkillsPad?
Only products whose creator has an affiliate program open. Once you're in, the products list shows which ones you can join and what they're paying.
Do I get approved automatically?
For most products, yes — your link works the moment you join. Some creators choose to review requests first; if that's the case you'll see "Pending approval" until they do.
What happens if a sale gets refunded?
A sale only counts toward your payout-eligible balance 24 hours after it's paid, which is designed to keep refunded orders from being paid out to you in the first place.
Is there a cost to becoming an affiliate?
No. It's free to sign up and free to join any product's program.
