Once you know what you are selling, you need somewhere to put it. This is a plain guide to the kinds of product you can build on SkillsPad and the two tools that raise what each buyer spends.
Each type gives your buyer a different experience, and some are only on certain plans — the product builder tells you which as you go.
A course is not only video. You can add downloadable files to any lesson, and add a quiz so people can check they have understood a section before moving on. Both live inside the course, so buyers do not have to go anywhere else.
A pre-order lets people pay for your product before you have finished making it. You get paid while you build, and you find out whether anyone wants it before you do the final work. The money is held until you release the product, which protects your buyers.
Both of these work on a buyer who has already decided to buy, which is why they convert so much better than finding a new customer.
No. The type shapes how the product is built and delivered, so it is set when you create it. If you need a different type, duplicate the product and rebuild it as the new one.
Yes. A buyer can take an order bump at checkout and a post-purchase offer afterwards, and each is recorded as its own sale.
The product builder shows every type and marks the ones your plan does not cover, with the plan that does. Nothing is hidden from you.
If you are not sure which of these fits what you know, the Product ideas tool suggests a type alongside each idea it gives you.
